School is in session!

School started... YEAH! I'm sure the boys don't totally feel the same way.

Clayton was happy about starting jazz band today. Hopefully he will do well in the class and the director will challenge him to move forward with his saxaphone skills. He is taking basic classes... Biology, Geometry and Spanish so hopefully nothing too challenging. One class I am interested in is the Advanced Technology class. They will work on some basic computer programming, website design and programming and some other things. Since Clayton has a strong mathmatical mind... he should do well here. We shall see....

Dylan has been placed in Algebra 1. In seventh grade no less... Looks like we are raising some math MENSA candidates! They didn't get it from me. He has been going to football practice for the last week and told me tonight that he will play the position of tight end. He seems excited about it. He is also in band... pray they have an extra horn that he can use because we really cannot afford to buy the boy a horn. He plays the barritone. I guess he could have played the tuba, but the barritone is so stinking big it is a pain to deal with... Why couldn't he have been interested in something much more simple... and small?????

Now the homework for the first night has been done... the second list of school supplies needed has been made... the lunch account has been filled (for the short time it will last)... I'm so happy school is back in session.
